HELP!

Hey everyone.

I work at Target.  And while Target is a great place to work, it's very lacking in mental stimulation.

Therefore, I'm going to start writing some scholarly essays.  Yes, of my own accord.

Yes, I am that bored.

I'm going to be writing about the cultural impact of Chuck Taylor All Stars on the American (and subsequently most Western) culture.

So here's what I need from you.

As you're watching movies and TV, listening to music, reading books...can you please note when characters are wearing Chuck Taylor All Stars?  Once you spot/note these, can you please drop me a comment on this, or any, really, post?

Examples:

  • Max is wearing them throughout Where The Wild Things Are.
  • Sharks and Jets in West Side Story.
  • Ten in Doctor Who.

You know, things like that.  If you can add the character, title, and media (if not obvious), that would be super.  Also, if possible define the characters?  e.g. main character, supporting character, antagonist, protagonist.  In fact, if by any chance you can note the color, too, I'd love you that much more.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

I believe Dr. Spencer Reid in Criminal Minds wears black ones quite frequently. I'm not sure of an specific examples, I just know that I've seen him wearing them.

And in the movie Meet the Robinsons, Wilbur Robinson either wears the real thing, or a variation.

They're both one of the main characters in their respective show/movie.

Hope this helps?

Yeah, I think they're a variation.
